Congratulations on becoming the new owner of a Lara Threads African print ankara essentials pouch!
Your pouch arrived packaged beautifully with a product tag attached with a bow made of 100% hemp twine. Hemp is a natural fiber that is strong, durable, quick-drying, and completely biodegradable. What's more? It's one of the most environmentally-friendly fibers in terms of cultivation, harvesting, and processing.
This post will show how to make your zipper pouch even more fabulous (if you wish) while keeping with the principles of sustainability and reducing waste.
While you can re-use that piece of twine for many other things, what I will show you in this video is how you can quickly and easily add a rustic pull tab that will make it even easier for you to locate your pouch's zipper pull without looking.
The packaging essentially becomes part of the product. Nice!
Untie hemp twine bow and remove product tag.
Cut off a 5-inch piece of the twine.
Insert the cut twine into the hole in the pouch's zipper pull.
Pull even and tie a knot. Done!
